Hands & Paws DOG RESCUE

We Are Their Voice

our mission as a dog rescue

The mission of Hands & Paws is to provide emergency/specialty medical treatment for animals in Florida kill shelters. Medical services provided will assist in rehabilitating animals so they may be adopted to loving, forever homes.

Hands & Paws Dog Rescue is a  501(c)3 non-profit organization

who are we?

Hands & Paws is a group of animal advocates who saw a need for medical rescue in our local county shelter. County animal services are not equipped or funded to care for critically injured animals. To give these animals a chance at LIFE, we take them from the shelter and directly to our vet, Dr. Kerri Slomcenski of Hays Towne Veterinarian Hospital in Hudson, FL. At Hays Towne, these animals get the medical care they need and are then placed in loving foster homes while they recuperate and are then available for adoption. The animals we take from the local shelter NEVER set foot back in a shelter again.

We believe that all animals deserve a chance.  We give them that chance.

Hands & Paws is funded solely on donations. Without these donations we cannot help the sick and injured animals deserving or our help. Please consider a donation in any amount.
