About Us

Hands & Paws Dog Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue sick and injured dogs from kill shelters, provide medical treatment and rehabilitation, and find their forever homes. We also work in the community to educate on responsible dog ownership to help prevent dogs from entering shelters in the first place.

Hand & Paws is completely volunteer-based. All foster dogs are housed in foster homes and not in a shelter or boarding facility. All members of the rescue have full-time jobs and do not collect a salary from the rescue. 100% of all donations to Hands & Paws go towards the care of rescue dogs.
